Gameplay
The gameplay of Pokemon Green is very similar to that of its predecessor, Red. The player controls a party of six pokemon and explores towns, caves, and forests in search of wild pokemon. The player can battle other trainers or pokemon trainers in exchange for rewards such as money, items, or experience points (XP). The objective is to collect all 8 badges from the regional Gym Leaders before reaching the Elite Four.
Story
The story of Pokemon Green starts in Pallet Town. A young boy or girl, that can be the game player, fresh out of their childhood, sets out in search of the 8th and final Pokemon. Along the way, they must traverse a difficult and often treacherous journey, in order to catch the elusive creature.
