Pokemon Y
Pokémon Y is a new game in the Pokémon franchise. It was released on October 12, 2013, for the Nintendo 3DS. The player assumes the role of a new trainer and starts their journey by choosing one of three starter Pokémon: Squirtle, Bulbasaur, or Charmander. After choosing their starter, the player must choose two others to battle with them and become friends. Throughout the game, the player battles other trainers in various regions collects items and Pokémon and ultimately completes a grand quest to become the best Trainer in the world.
Gameplay

Pokemon Y is set to release in November in the Americas and Europe. There are two new starters, Eevee and Pikachu Libre. The game is heavily based on the Kalos region from the Pokemon anime series. Players can explore the new region, battle against trainers, and capture Pokémon. In addition to battling, players can also trade with other players through the Nintendo Network.
Pokemon Y features many changes from previous games such as trading which was first introduced in Pokemon Black 2 and White 2. In order to trade with other players, a player needs to have an internet connection either directly or through a Wi-Fi hotspot. Trading allows players to give away their unwanted Pokémon for others to catch.
Players can also send gifts using the Nintendo Network including Pokémon eggs that hatched into Baby Pokémon that have unique abilities and moves depending on the sender’s game version.

Story
The game follows the adventures of a new trainer who, like before, helps to save the world from various dangers. Unlike some of its predecessors, this game is designed for a more console-like experience on Nintendo’s latest handheld device, the 3DS.
The graphics in Pokemon Y are top-notch and make for an enjoyable gaming experience. The game also introduces a new feature called Mega Evolution, which allows certain Pokémon to become extremely powerful by gaining access to powerful new techniques and moves. Overall, Pokemon Y is an excellent addition to the franchise that newcomers and veterans alike will enjoy playing.
